Since I’m usually a Heavy tank, I spend most of my time on this map in the northern hill area, though I enjoy being able to roll through the villages to admire the pagoda-inspired structures when I can. There’s frosty foliage, snow dusted peaks, and pink cherry blossoms sprinkled throughout the land that make the map seem much more vibrant than others. Although I never played the original version of it, the current version of this map works well for me.įirst off, Sacred Valley is just gorgeous. In terms of aesthetic design and overall layout, I think my favorite World of Tanks map would have to be Sacred Valley. Who doesn't love the aesthetic appeal of Sacred Valley? Larryn Bell: There can be games where things are a bit slow, but more often than not I can have a really good round with this approach, and that’s why I’m always excited to see Malinovka pop up in my playlist. I typically park my TD in one of the bushes on the line and begin collecting spotting damage, while simultaneously punishing anyone who dares try to cross that open field. What works for me on Malinovka is the open field in front of the spawns. I realize that’s not a lot by many standards, but my skills haven’t progressed to the point where I play much above Tier 6.
The reason I’m taking Malinovka is because I’ve had some of my best games there (although I did get a Radley-Walters’ Epic Medal on Mines), including my personal best 2,700+ Damage in a single game. This is strictly a choice based on my success on that map, because truthfully, I prefer the visuals on Himmelsdorf much more than those of Malinovka. Bill Lavoy:īecause I haven’t been around World of Tanks for very long, my choice will be a current map, and I’m going with Malinovka. Bill enjoys sniping across the open field on the southwest quadrant of Malinovka. All the ridges and dips make for some sneaky peek-a-boom play. While I’ve not played a lot of it, Wild Oaks can be enjoyable as well. Once a few of the enemies are cleared, I often brave the trek across the fields toward the town - I like to imagine people don’t expect such a wreckless display of driving! More often than not, I enjoy moving down the west in a Medium, or sitting at the rear of the west in a TD. I really enjoy the long stretch of roads flanked by fields down Line 1, with the juxtaposition of the town in the east quadrant. Though, I do appreciate that there are several maps players want brought back to World of Tanks.įor me, personally, I’ve had a lot of good experiences on the map Fisherman’s Bay. Much like a few other people here, I’m fairly new to the World of Tanks scene, so my experience with some of the older and now-removed maps is limited.
